World

Orros, its powers, and the laws beneath empire.

The world of The Heralds of Disruption is built on visible power: republics, kingships, imperial law, ancient bloodlines.

Every throne, city, doctrine, and bloodline exists under the shadow of older wars. Orros remembers conquest as part of its architecture.

The Great Wars

Five wars broke the old world. Everything after them is fair game.

Uros is a civilization built on the memory of catastrophe. The Five Great Wars reshaped kingdoms, bloodlines, doctrines, and the legitimacy of magic as an institution of power.

The Five Great Wars of Orros

The Five Great Wars are remembered as civilizational ruptures. Each war left behind a new order: dynasties rose, ancient houses vanished, magical doctrines hardened into law, and the surviving powers learned that empire is its own form of art.

Legacy

Modern Orros still lives inside the borders, myths, wounds, and laws these wars created.

Main Powers

Taros and Uros stand on opposite sides of the age.

One realm clings to tyranny as if domination were sacred. The other remains a kingdom, yet begins to move toward representation, law, and a more liberal understanding of power.

Taros

Taros

The Tyranny That Refuses to Die

Taros is the old order in its most merciless form: aristocratic, proud, and unwilling to loosen its grip. Its tyrants rule through inherited fear, ceremonial violence, and the belief that domination is not a crime but a birthright. Taros follows the law of theurgy. Whoever bests their peers in magic, rules.

Uros

Uros

The Kingdom Becoming Something New

Uros remains a kingdom, but it is no longer frozen in the habits of ancient rule. Beneath its councils, a more liberal and representative order is beginning to emerge. Yet Uros can prove more ruthless than a tyranny, for it follows the law of the economy.
